There has never been an agreement with any party that we don't play at home on Boxing Day.
I'm sure that Westfield would prefer we didn't play Tottenham etc, but there's never been an agreement saying we won't be at home. It's just coincidence.

They DO go staright into the group stages, the back door wankers.
I just hope they haven't had time to gel as a new squad yet, and likewise that we have. Give them the same treatment we gave the Gooners in Bilic's first league match, hopefully.

Man Utd away first game up not such a massive worry...they will have have an eye on their impending Champions league play off fixture which will be on the tues/weds following it

Fuck me, so we will have to play the other 19 teams in the PL, home and away?
Is there nothing that some people won’t complain or argue about on WHO? Maybe have a moan about weather on match days or congestion on the M25 curtailing travel too and from games if they get re scheduled for TV.

Am I right in thinking that our opening fixtures over the course of four seasons will be/have been Man United Away, Chelsea Away, Arsenal Away and Tottenham Away?
I hate to cry conspiracy, but with a good start being so important how do we keep getting such a difficult match first up?
